SERVICE ENGINEERS

Points North Ltd service engineers repair and overhaul Marine Electrical & Electronic equipment in a workshop environment or off-site in ports/dockyards throughout the UK, and, worldwide when required. We currently have an Enabling agreement with the UK MOD to upkeep the Electronic Maintenance System (P.M.S.) on board RFA Fort Victoria and sister ship RFA Fort George.

COMMISSIONING ENGINEERS

Points North Ltd Commissioning Engineers Install and Commission Marine Electronic Equipment. We recently completed a 10 month contract for BAE Systems, where 4 engineers provided assistance to commission all Electronic Weapons systems on board two new build vessels for the UK Ministry of Defence. Our expertise with commissioning military weapons equipment is well sought after and we hope to continue our relationship with BAE Systems in the very near future.

FIBRE OPTIC

Points North Ltd can supply all Fibre Optic cabling, connectors and test equipment required to complete any Marine Installation. Our engineers are fully trained in the Installation, Termination and Testing of Fibre Optic cabling and systems.

DESIGN/INTERFACING

Points North Ltd offers a System Design, Interfacing and CAD facility within our offices in Rosyth. We  provide the Shipbuilder/Ship repairer or Ship owner with up to date CAD Drawings and listing of Modern equipment that will fulfill his exact requirements in a cost effective manner. Points North Ltd can supply all necessary hardware and interfaces to ensure that the new system is commissioned on time and within budget.
